Meet Robert

I am a successful wedding and special event photographer in the Washington, D.C. area. Having worked in a variety of environments, I am adept at coming through with the shot regardless of the circumstances. It always comes back to controlling the light, finding the right spot and having fun. With the friendly and tactful touch of a seasoned professional, you can count on me both to wrangle people for a quick and painless group shot and to discretely capture big moments with a photojournalistic flair.

I have photographed events at venues including the East Lawn of the US Capitol, the Greek and French embassies, The George Washington University, the Gaylord National Resort and Convention center, and the Four Seasons and Park Hyatt hotels in Georgetown. My work has appeared in news stories on CNN.com, the Huffington Post and in countless Facebook profile pictures.

A native Washingtonian, I grew up on Capitol Hill near the Library of Congress and have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. If not photographing a convention, press conference or gala, you might find me: rooting for the Redskins, at a baseball game, an underrated restaurant, or enjoying the great outdoors.
